Release in the statistics on students and qualifications was corrected as concerns data for 2021

The corrected number of students in 2021 is 1,387,466 (previously 1,380,983) and the corrected number of new students is 315, 845 (previously 315,677).

The number of women of all students is 716,252 (previously 712,798) and that of new students 172,369 (previously 172,263).

Data on pre-primary education pupils for 2021 has been corrected. The figures published previously were a total of 58,570 in pre-primary education, 48,907 in connection with early childhood education and 9,663 in connection with comprehensive education.

Data on general upper secondary education for 2021 has been corrected. The figures published previously were: number of students 107,247 and number of new students 36,900.
