The statistics on business demography describe the dynamics, life cycle and employment impact of enterprises in Finland. The statistics contain data on enterprise openings and closures and on growth enterprises by region and industry. Data are published quarterly and annually.
Data were previously published in the statistics on enterprise openings and closures and in experimental statistics on growth enterprises. For enterprise openings and closures, the data are not consistent with those of the old statistics due to new data sources. Further information about the change can be found in the documentation of the statistics.
