Consumer price index: Changes in the consumer price index database tables starting from the publication of data for January 2026

The Consumer Price Index will move to the base year 2025=100 and to a new classification starting from the data for January 2026. The changes shown below in the database tables will take effect upon the release of the January data. The preliminary data for the Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices for January will be published on 4 February 2026, and other monthly tables on 19 February 2026.
