Public sector environmental protection expenditure

Statistics
Discontinued:
The statistics on the public sector’s environmental protection expenditure describe the amount of money central and local governments spend annually on environmental protection. The central government’s environmental protection expenditure contains the administrative costs of environmental protection, expenditure on environmental protection and nature conservation, and environmental protection expenditure arising from the use of certain geographic areas. Most of the local government’s environmental protection expenditure arises from wastewater treatment, waste management and air pollution control activities.

Detailed tables of the discontinued statistics are available in the StatFin archive database
