Values and opinions in Finland - follow-up survey (CRONOS)
The survey is part of a large international research project, European Social Survey (ESS) involving around 30 countries. The survey measures the values and opinions of people living in different European countries on issues of social importance. The questions change from one round to the next.
The survey is carried out in Finland in cooperation between Statistics Finland and the University of Turku.

Respond to the inquiry
Those invited to the survey have first participated in the Values and Opinions in Finland survey and have indicated their willingness to participate in this follow-up survey. The survey will be answered online. A small number of respondents will receive a postal questionnaire at home.
This is how to respond
The questionnaire will be conducted online and can be answered in Finnish or Swedish. Before the start of each round of data collection, you will receive a letter to your home and a link to the form by email (or SMS if we do not have your email address). A small number of respondents will receive a postal questionnaire at home.

Data protection, rights and obligations
All data collected for statistical purposes are confidential. When processing data, it is seen to that no person's privacy or business or professional secret are endangered. Every person employed by Statistics Finland has signed a pledge of secrecy.
