The survey is part of a large international research project, European Social Survey (ESS) involving around 30 countries. The survey measures the values and opinions of people living in different European countries on issues of social importance. The questions change from one round to the next. The survey is carried out in Finland in cooperation between Statistics Finland and the University of Turku.
Those invited to the survey have first participated in the Values and Opinions in Finland survey and have indicated their willingness to participate in this follow-up survey. The survey can be completed online or by filling in a paper form.
The questionnaire will be conducted online and can be answered in Finnish or Swedish. Before the start of each round of data collection, you will receive a letter to your home and a link to the form by email (or SMS if we do not have your email address). A small number of respondents will receive a postal questionnaire at home.
