Renovation building of dwellings and detached houses

The data collection collects data on the condition and renovation of dwellings. In all, 5,000 dwellings have been selected at random for the inquiry from Statistics Finland's data describing buildings and dwellings. The population are persons living in owner-occupied dwellings.

⁠The data are used for the compilation of the publication on renovations of buildings and
apartments concerning residential buildings. The collected data are also used in the statistics on renovation building. The data are collected annually.

Renovation building is also of great social importance because of its size in the national economy. Data on the price development of renovation building form part of Statistics Finland's renovation building data set.
