Safety and well-being in Finland

In 2021, Statistics Finland surveyed the experiences of people living in Finland on everyday safety in different areas of life. The questions concerned the security of everyday life in work, family and leisure. The survey was part of a larger research project funded by Eurostat, the Statistical Office of the European Union, which measured everyday safety in different European countries. As regards Finland, the survey is conducted by Statistics Finland, the government statistical office, whose task it is to compile statistics and conduct surveys describing conditions in society. In Finland, in addition to Statistics Finland and Eurostat, the study was funded by the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health.
