Information on learning support for pre-primary education in early childhood education

Statistics Finland conducts a separate collection of information on learning support due to limitations in the Koski data repository. The information is collected at the request of the Ministry of Education and Culture, including previously missing data on pre-primary education
within early childhood education.

The survey is targeted towards all early childhood education providers in mainland Finland. The gathered information will cover students with intensified and special support on September 20, 2023, and information on part-time special education for the academic year 2022-2023.

Due to future legislative changes, the survey will not be conducted in 2025.
