Sales of retail trade grew by 5.7 per cent in July
According to Statistics Finland, retail trade sales rose by 5.7 per cent in July from July 2010. Sales volume also grew by 2.1 per cent during the same time period. Wholesale trade sales went up by 8.7 per cent and motor vehicle sales by 23.7 per cent. In total trade sales increased by 9.4 per cent in July.

Sales in retail trade rose by 5.8 per cent and in wholesale trade by 10.0 per cent in January to July compared with the corresponding period of the previous year. Motor vehicle sales rose by 21.0 per cent. In total trade sales were up in January to July by 10.1 per cent on the respective period of the year before.
