Transport in domestic waterborne traffic decreased in August

The goods volume in domestic waterborne traffic totalled 0.3 million tonnes in August 2020. Transport in domestic waterborne traffic decreased by 65 per cent compared to last year's August. In August 2020 almost all domestic water transport took place in coastal waterways.

Oil products were transported most, in total 0.2 million tonnes, which was 70 per cent of all transport. The second most transported were crude minerals and cement, 54 thousand tonnes.

A total of 18,080 tons of transport were registered through the canal in domestic traffic.
