Transport in domestic waterborne traffic decreased in April

The goods volume in domestic waterborne traffic totalled 0,3 million tonnes in April 2021. Transport in domestic waterborne traffic decreased by 58 per cent compared to April 2020. In April 2021 domestic water transport took place almost only in coastal waterways.

Oil products were transported most, in total 0.2 million tonnes, which was 54 per cent of all transport. The second most transported was timber, 35,466 tonnes.

A total of 2,199 tons of transport were registered through the canal in domestic traffic.
