Turnover in service industries grew by 8.4 per cent in September to November
Turnover in service industries grew by 8.4 per cent in September to November 2010 from the corresponding time period of the year before. One year previously, turnover in service industries contracted by 9.1 per cent. Services are here examined exclusive of trade and the data have been adjusted for working days by eliminating the effects of calendar variations from them.
Three months' year-on-year change in turnover in services (TOL 2008)
Among the service industries, turnover grew fastest in transportation and storage enterprises, whose turnover increased by 12.4 per cent from the September to November period of the previous year. Administrative and support service activities also grew faster than total services, as turnover there rose by 11.4 per cent from the year before. The growth was slowest in real estate activities and in information and communication activities.
