Turnover in service industries grew by 7.9 per cent in May to July

Turnover in service industries grew by 7.9 per cent in May to July from the corresponding time period of the year before. One year previously, turnover in service industries grew by 6.5 per cent. Services are here examined exclusive of trade and the data have been adjusted for working days by eliminating the effects of calendar variations from them.

Among the service industries, turnover grew fastest in administrative and support service activities, where it went up by 12 per cent from one year ago. Over ten per cent growth in turnover was also seen in professional, scientific and technical activities. The growth of turnover was slowest in arts, entertainment and recreation, and in real estate activities.
