Turnover in service industries grew by 4.6 per cent year-on-year in June to August
In June to August, turnover in service industries grew by 4.6 per cent from the corresponding period of the year before. One year previously, turnover in service industries grew by 6.7 per cent. Services are here examined exclusive of trade and the data have been adjusted for working days by eliminating the effects of calendar variations from them.
Three months' year-on-year change in turnover in services (TOL 2008)
In the June to August period, turnover in services grew fastest in arts, entertainment and recreation where it went up by 8.6 per cent. The growth in realestate activities amounted to 8 per cent and in professional, scientific and technical activities to 7.5 per cent. The growth of turnover was slowest in other service activities and in information and communication activities.
