Turnover in service industries went up by 0.3 per cent in September to November from the corresponding time period of the year before

Turnover in service industries grew slowly in the September to November period, as it went up by just 0.3 per cent compared with the corresponding period of the previous year. One year previously, turnover in service industries grew by 3.1 per cent. Growth in service industries has been clearly slower in the January to November period of 2013 than in the previous year. Services are here examined exclusive of trade.

Turnover developed more weakly in September to November in nearly all main service industries than in the corresponding period of the previous year. Turnover grew faster than one year ago only in enterprises in arts, entertainment and recreation activities, where turnover increased by 6.9 per cent from one year before. Turnover was weakest in transportation and storage, which contracted by 2.1 per cent from the corresponding period of the year before.
