Turnover of construction enterprises grew by nearly eight per cent in the May to July period
The turnover of construction enterprises grew by 7.7 per cent in the May to July period when compared with the corresponding three-month period of the year before. In the latest examination period, turnover increased by 16.5 per cent in building construction, contracted by 11.1 per cent in civil engineering and grew by 6.9 per cent in specialised construction compared with the May to July period of the previous year.

The sales volume of construction enterprises grew by 19 per cent year-on-year in the May to July period. Over the same period, the sales volume of building construction enterprises went up by 29.8 per cent, that of civil engineering contracted by 14 per cent and that of specialised construction activities rose by 19.2 per cent.
The volume index of enterprises’ sales is calculated by removing the effect of price changes from the turnover index series.
