Turnover of construction enterprises grew by nearly 14 per cent in the November to January period

The turnover of construction enterprises grew by 13.9 per cent in the November to January period when compared with the corresponding three-month period of the year before. In the latest examination period, the turnover of building construction went up by 18.0 per cent and that of specialised construction by 14.5 per cent. The turnover of civil engineering increased by 0.4 per cent in the November to January period from one year back.

The sales volume of construction enterprises grew by 20.1 per cent year-on-year in the November to January period. In the corresponding period, the sales volume of building construction enterprises increased by 25.2 per cent. Specialised construction went up by 21.6 per cent. The sales volume of civil engineering in turn fell by 2.1 per cent in the November to January period.

The volume index of enterprises’ sales is calculated by removing the effect of price changes from the turnover index series.
