Turnover of construction enterprises grew by nearly 6 per cent year-on-year in May to July
The turnover of construction enterprises grew by 5.9 per cent in the May to July period when compared with the corresponding three-month period of the year before. During the latest examined period, turnover increased by 9.8 per cent in civil engineering, by 6.9 per cent in specialised construction and by 4.0 per cent in building construction.

The sales volume of construction enterprises fell by 0.5 per cent year-on-year in the May to July period. In the latest examined period, the sales volume in building construction decreased by 2.4 per cent. By contrast, the sales volume grew by 4.9 per cent in civil engineering and by 0.4 per cent in specialised construction activities from the May to July period of 2011.
The volume index of enterprises’ sales is calculated by removing the effect of price changes from the turnover index series.
