Turnover of construction enterprises decreased by 1.3 per cent in November to January from the year before
The turnover of construction enterprises contracted by 1.3 per cent in November to January from the corresponding period of the year before. The turnover of specialised construction activities contracted by 3.0 per cent and that of building construction by 1.5 per cent. The turnover of civil engineering grew by 4.9 per cent.
Three months' year-on-year change in turnover of construction (TOL 2008)
The sales volume of construction enterprises went down by 2.1 per cent year-on-year in the November to January period. The sales volume of specialised construction activities declined by 3.5 per cent and that of building construction by 2.0 per cent. The sales volume of civil engineering grew by 3.9 per cent.
The volume index of enterprises’ sales is calculated by removing the effect of price changes from the turnover index series.
