Turnover of construction enterprises grew by over 3 per cent year-on-year in March to May
The turnover of construction enterprises increased by 3.4 per cent in March to May 2014 from the year before. The turnover of construction of buildings grew by 5.1 per cent. The turnover of specialised construction activities increased by 2.3 per cent and that of civil engineering by 2.1 per cent. One year previously, turnover in the whole industry went down by 3.0 per cent in the corresponding period.

The sales volume of construction enterprises grew by 2.9 per cent in March to May from one year before. The sales volume grew by 4.8 per cent in building construction, by 2.0 per cent in specialised construction activities, and by 1.1 per cent in civil engineering.
The volume index of enterprises’ sales is calculated by removing the effect of price changes from the turnover index series.
