Turnover of construction enterprises grew by 0.7 per cent year-on-year in July to September
The turnover of construction enterprises increased by 0.7 per cent in the third quarter of 2014 compared with the corresponding quarter of one year before. The turnover of building construction went up by 1.9 per cent and that of civil engineering by 0.2 per cent. The turnover of specialised construction enterprises remained almost on level with the previous year. In the corresponding period of 2013, the turnover of the whole industry increased by 1.5 per cent.

The sales volume of construction enterprises fell slightly in the third quarter from one year before. The sales volume of both civil engineering and specialised construction activities decreased by 0.7 per cent. In turn, the sales volume of building construction increased by 1.3 per cent.
The volume index of enterprises’ sales is calculated by removing the effect of price changes from the turnover index series.
