The turnover of construction enterprises increased year-on-year in August to October
The turnover of construction enterprises increased by 1.5 per cent in August to October 2014 and the sales volume of construction enterprises grew by 0.7 per cent from the year before. In August to October 2013, turnover remained on level with the previous year.
Three months' year-on-year change in turnover of construction (TOL 2008)
Turnover grew in all construction industries. Building construction increased by 2.0 per cent, specialised construction activities by 1.4 per cent, and civil engineering by 0.4 per cent.
The sales volume of construction enterprises grew most in building construction, by 1.3 per cent. The sales volume of specialised construction activities grew by 0.6 per cent. The sales volume of civil engineering, in turn, shrunk by 0.3 per cent.
The volume index of enterprises’ sales is calculated by removing the effect of price changes from the turnover index series.
