Turnover of construction enterprises grew by nearly 8 per cent in September to November 2015
According to Statistics Finland, turnover of construction enterprises grew by 7.6 per cent and sales volume by 6.4 per cent in September to November 2015. In the corresponding period one year earlier, turnover grew by 0.9 per cent.
Three months' year-on-year change in turnover of construction (TOL 2008)
Turnover continued to grow in all construction industries. The growth was strongest in building construction, where 9.9 per cent more turnover was accumulated than one year earlier in September to November. The turnover of civil engineering grew by 8.8 per cent and that of specialised construction activities by 4.9 per cent.
The sales volume of construction enterprises grew by 12.0 per cent in civil engineering. In building construction, growth amounted to 8.5 per cent and in specialised construction to 3.6 per cent.
The volume index of enterprises’ sales is calculated by removing the effect of price changes from the turnover index series.
