Turnover of construction enterprises grew by 8 per cent in May to July
In the May to July period of 2016, the turnover of construction enterprises increased by 8.0 per cent and the sales volume by 6.0 per cent year-on-year. In the corresponding period of 2015, growth was slightly faster than this year, 8.6 per cent year-on-year.

Turnover continued to grow in all construction industries. The growth was strongest in specialised construction, where 9.0 per cent more turnover was accumulated than one year earlier in May to July. The turnover of building construction increased by 8.1 per cent and that of civil engineering by 5.0 per cent.
The sales volume of construction enterprises grew by 7.8 per cent in civil engineering in May to July. The sales volume of specialised construction activities went up by 6.0 per cent and that of building construction by 5.1 per cent.
The volume index of enterprises’ sales is calculated by removing the effect of price changes from the turnover index series.
