Methodological description of Finland's gross national income (9/10)

The methodological description includes a description of the compilation methods of gross domestic product (GDP) and gross national income (GNI) in the way in which they are compiled in Finland according to the European System of Accounts (ESA95). Every EU Member State is liable to prepare a corresponding description and this description is uniform with those of other EU Member States.

The methodological description comprises an account of the calculation of current price figures only, that is, fixed price methods (volume) are not dealt with in this document. The document describes the compilation of national accounts, the calculation methods by different approaches (output, income, expenditure), the balancing methods of accounts, the key data sources used and how the coverage of the data is ensured.
