Statistics Finland's phone numbers have changed

Statistics Finland started using the uniform 0295 telephone numbers of central government on 9 June 2014.

The new number of our switchboard is +358 29 551 1000. The last four digits of the personnel's phone numbers have remained unchanged. The mobile phone numbers have not changed. You can find the new phone numbers on our home page under Contact information.

Calls made to the old +358 1734 numbers will be directed to a recorded message.

The renewal of the telephone numbers is part of the centralised communication solution of central government, which aims to bring significant cost savings and functional benefits for the whole state administration. Most central government agencies and institutions are already using the new telephone numbers.

In future, callers to Statistics Finland's numbers will continue to be charged only according to their telephone subscriptions.
