Changes to API use in the PxWeb database in June – searches must be updated
NewsThe structure of the PX files in the statistical databases will be renewed during June. The change affects queries made in the PxWeb API interface.
The existing PxWeb API searches will be broken, and they must be updated to correspond to the new file structure. We will publish instructions for correcting the queries, as well as the exact date of the change as soon as possible.
The change is based on the reform of Statistics Finland's internal tabulation process, aimed at standardising the metadata of PX tables and improving their integrity.
Saved searches made in the PxWeb databases will be updated automatically where possible as part of the change.
