Statistics Finland moves to the Pasila Government Agency Centre

News

Statistics Finland will move to new office premises in the Pasila Government Agency Centre in February 2026. Starting from 16 February 2026, the agency's new visiting address will be Opastinsilta 12, Helsinki. The move is part of Statistics Finland's adjustment measures to meet pressures to cut down government spending.

Despite the move, our activities will continue as usual. We aim to ensure that statistics production and other activities can continue undisturbed during the move.

The shared government work environment, which is being built in Pasila, brings together 12 organisations under the same roof. When the work coordinated by Senate Properties is completed by the end of 2026, approximately 5,200 central government employees will be working in the area.

The project is based on the government's new strategy on office premises, which aims to increase the efficiency of premise use and increase shared work environments. According to the strategy, the goal is that a quarter of all central government personnel will work in shared workspaces by 2030.

Our postal address will remain unchanged, FI-00022 Statistics Finland
