Building costs rose by 9.0 per cent in May year-on-year

According to Statistics Finland, building costs rose by 9.0 per cent in May 2022 from one year back. The costs of materials continued to rise. The costs of steel structures, wood structures and concrete elements rose most, but there is strong growth in the price development of several commodity groups.
