Subject choices of students 2021

English the most studied language in upper secondary education in 2021

According to Statistics Finland, nearly all students attending general upper secondary education in autumn 2021 studied English. Ninety-three per cent of vocational education students studied English. Ninety-one per cent of students in general upper secondary education and 89 per cent of students in vocational education studied Swedish in 2021.
