Value of renovation projects carried out by construction enterprises was EUR 9.8 billion in 2021

According to Statistics Finland, the value of building projects was EUR 23.8 billion in construction enterprises with at least five employees in 2021. Of the projects, EUR 9.8 billion were directed at renovation building and EUR 13.9 billion at newbuilding. The value of renovation building increased by nearly 28 per cent from 2020 and by almost four per cent from 2019. The value of newbuilding grew by 17 per cent from 2020.
