Building costs rose by 3.6 per cent in May year-on-year
Correction
According to Statistics Finland, building costs rose by 3.6 per cent in May 2023 from one year back. Among materials, the biggest increases in the year were recorded in heat insulation (19.8 %) and house equipments (10.6 %). Costs decreased most in the year in timber structures (-20.6 %) and precast concrete units (-4.6 %).
