Number of enterprise closures one-tenth higher in the first quarter of 2023 than one year ago

According to Statistics Finland, there were 11,242 enterprise closures in the first quarter of 2023. During the quarter, the number of enterprise closures increased by 9.7 per cent from the previous year. At the same time, enterprise openings numbered 12,016. In the first quarter of 2023, the number of enterprise openings was 0.2 per cent higher than one year previously.
