Environmental protection expenditure grew by 11 per cent in 2021

According to Statistics Finland, environmental protection expenditure continued growing in 2021 and totalled over EUR five billion for the first time. The consumption of environmental protection services grew by six per cent and investments by as much as 45 per cent from the year before. The increase was highest in waste management.
