Nights spent by foreign tourists in Finland increased by nearly one fifth from the previous year in June 2023

According to Statistics Finland's preliminary data, 2.24 million overnight stays were recorded in June 2023, of which 1.78 million were overnight stays by resident tourists. The total number of overnight stays increased by three per cent from the year before. The number of nights spent by resident tourists remained on level with June 2022 and the number of nights spent by non-resident tourists was 17 per cent higher.
