Students in general upper secondary education numbered 109,600 in 2022

According to Statistics Finland, a total of 109,600 students attended general upper secondary school education leading to a qualification in 2022. There were 37,600 new students in general upper secondary education. A total of 30,265 matriculation examinations were completed. The figure was 456 lower than one year before.
