Building costs rose by 3.0 per cent compared to the previous year in 2023

According to Statistics Finland, building costs rose by 3.0 per cent in 2023 from one year back. Among materials, the biggest increases in the year were recorded in heat insulation (15.0%). Costs decreased most in the year in timber structures (-14.9%) and precast concrete units (-6.0%).
