Building costs rose by 0.5 per cent in June 2024 from one year ago

According to Statistics Finland, building costs rose by 0.5 per cent in June 2024 from one year back. Among materials, the biggest increases in the year were recorded in windows and doors (2.5%) and soil (2.3%). Costs decreased most in the year in steel structures (-10.1%) and precast concrete units (-7.1%).
