Building costs went down by 0.1 per cent in July 2024 from one year ago

According to Statistics Finland, building costs decreased by 0.1 per cent in July 2024 from one year back. Among materials, the biggest increases in the year were recorded in soil (5.4%) and timber structures (3.8%). Costs decreased most in the year in steel structures (-9.0%) and precast concrete units (-7.0%).
