According to Statistics Finland's preliminary data, Finland's population was 5,635,560 at the end of October 2024. Our country's population increased by 31,709 persons during January–October. The reason for the increase was migration gain from abroad, since immigration exceeded emigration by 41,458. The number of births was 10,993 lower than that of deaths.
