EUR 5.2 billion were used on renovations of owner-occupied dwellings and one-dwelling and two-dwelling houses in 2023

According to Statistics Finland, owners of dwellings renovated their dwellings and residential buildings to the tune of EUR 5.2 billion in 2023. The amount of money spent on renovations went up by 2.7 per cent from the level of 2022. EUR 4.3 billion were spent on renovating one-dwelling and two-dwelling houses. EUR 550 billion were used on renovations to dwellings in blocks of flats, and EUR 350 million to dwellings in terraced houses.
