Output of the national economy contracted in April 2024

According to Statistics Finland, output adjusted for working days decreased in April 2024 by 2.3 per cent from one year ago. Seasonally adjusted output decreased in April by 0.1 per cent from the month before. Working day adjusted primary production diminished by 11.6 per cent. Secondary production decreased by 5.7 per cent and services by 0.6 per cent from April 2023.
