Output of the national economy grew in June 2024

According to Statistics Finland, output adjusted for working days grew in June 2024 by 1.5 per cent from one year ago. Seasonally adjusted output grew by 1.0 per cent in June from the month before. According to revised data, working day adjusted output decreased in May 2024 by 2.4 per cent (previously -1.9%) from May last year.

Seasonally adjusted GDP is estimated to have grown in the second quarter of 2024 by 0.4 per cent from the previous quarter.
The number of employed persons is estimated to have decreased by 0.5 per cent from the previous quarter.
The number of hours worked is estimated to have decreased by 0.1 per cent from the quarter before.
