Output of the national economy decreased in October 2024 year-on-year

According to Statistics Finland, output adjusted for working days decreased by 0.5 per cent in October 2024 from the previous year’s level. However, seasonally adjusted output for October grew by 0.4 per cent from the month before. Working day adjusted primary production grew by 1.4 per cent and secondary production decreased by 1.7 per cent from October 2023. Service industries remained on level with the previous year.
