Building costs remained unchanged in 2024 compared to the previous year

According to Statistics Finland, building costs remained unchanged in 2024 compared to the previous year. Among materials, the biggest cost increases in the year were recorded in soil materials, 2.6 per cent. Costs decreased most in the year in precast concrete units (-7.5%) and steel structures (-7.0%).
