Building costs increased by 0.3 per cent in March 2025 year-on-year

According to Statistics Finland, building costs increased by 0.3 per cent in March 2025 compared with the previous year’s corresponding period. Among materials, the biggest cost increase in the year were recorded in timber structures, 6.4 per cent. Costs decreased most in the year in steel structures (-4.0%) and in heat insulation (-3.4%).
