Number of students at universities of applied sciences increased in 2024
releaseAccording to Statistics Finland, the number of students in university of applied sciences education continued to grow in 2024. The number of students attending university of applied sciences education leading to a degree was 176,700, of whom 54,500 were new students. There were 5,900 more students and 2,100 more new students than in the previous year. The number of degrees completed was 33,800. The number grew by 2,800 from the year before.
