According to Statistics Finland, 62 per cent of students in general upper secondary school education were learning two languages in 2024. Thirty-five per cent of students in general upper secondary school education studied three or more languages. Eighty-seven per cent of students in initial vocational education learnt two languages. One per cent of students in initial vocational education studied three or more languages.
