Appropriations for government R&D funding for 2024 increased compared to 2023
releaseAccording to Statistics Finland, the total appropriations for research and development activities amounted to EUR 2,498.7 million in the state budget for 2024. Compared to preliminary data for 2024, the decrease in R&D appropriations was EUR 12.6 million. The share of government R&D funding of gross domestic product is estimated to be around 0.91 per cent in 2024.
