Industrial output decreased month-on-month in June 2025 but increased year-on-year
Seasonally adjusted industrial output (TOL BCD) decreased by 0.8 per cent in June from the month before. According to Statistics Finland, industrial output adjusted for working days went up by 0.4 per cent compared to June 2024.

Changes in industrial output were moderate in nearly all main industries in June
Adjusted for working days, output in manufacturing (C) grew by 1.1 per cent in June 2025 from one year earlier. Seasonally adjusted output in manufacturing (C) decreased by 0.5 per cent from the previous month.
Among the main industries examined in the chart, industrial output grew most in June in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply, by 3.4 per cent from the previous month. Output in the food industry was 0.9 per cent higher and in the metal industry 0.4 per cent higher than in May.
The fall in output was strongest in mining and quarrying, where output decreased by 12.5 per cent from the previous month. The fall was lower in other industries. Output fell by 3.4 per cent in the chemical industry, by 3.0 per cent in the electrical and electronics industry and by 2.1 per cent in the forest industry compared to May.
